The couple, who have a combined net worth of $1.16 billion, reportedly bought the $88 million mansion in Bel Air.

The LA property was?bought by Dean McKillen, who is the son of an Irish billionaire. The mansion has eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a spa, a garden, and a basketball court. The 30,000 sq-ft colossal house contains six structures and boasts bulletproof glass windows. The property also has staff quarters and a huge garage.

The Carters had reportedly taken a mortgage of $52.8 million to buy the Bel Air residence, which would be paid in a 30-year span with an interest rate of 4%.

Nevertheless, $88 million for a mansion is certainly a huge sum of money. In comparison, even the richest NBA players did not dare to spend such fortunes on a house. The current highest-paid NBA player at the moment is Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry. His estimated earnings from the 2022-23 season are said to be $48.07 million. Additionally, the Warriors player owns a mansion that is worth half the price of the Carters’ mansion.

Curry owns a three-story house in the Bay Area that is worth $41 million. Whereas, fellow billionaire and former Chicago Bulls legend?Michael Jordan owns a $19 million mansion that sits on 56,000 sq. ft. property in Chicago.
