Ever heard of Victor Wembanyama? The 18-year-old French basketball sensation is one of the hottest talents looking to make his way into the NBA currently. With a physicality like no other, he has the added benefit of having good handles. However, his career could’ve ended very recently even before the fans got a glimpse of him. In a recent clip doing the rounds of the internet, Wembanyama gave the whole world a scare.

French wonderkid Victor Wembanyama is only 18 years old standing at a huge frame of 7-foot-4 inches. He is projected to be the #1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft and teams have gone head over hills for him. Various teams in the league are reportedly resorting to tanking in order to draft Wembanyama.

During a recent game, the 7-foot-4 inches tall sensation had an awkward fall and the clip has gone viral on the internet. Interestingly, a fan has labeled his fall as almost ‘giraffe-like’. Here’s what NBA fans on Twitter had to say about Wembanyama’s recent scare.

Fans certainly had a scare right there with Wembanyama. Thankfully, any recent reports about Wembanyama have not talked about any injury, so fans and teams can breathe a sigh of relief.

Following his rise to stardom, Victor Wembanyama has made numerous appearances in NBA games. Most recently, he was seen attending a game between the Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls.

He was seen meeting up with greats like Ben Wallace and San Antonio Spurs legend Tony Parker. The Bulls won the game convincingly with a 126-108 scoreline. Zach LaVine scored 30 points to guide his team to a well-earned victory. Currently, the Bulls are 10th in the Eastern Conference and the Detroit Pistons. Can any one of these teams land Wembanyama? Only time can tell.
