The Los Angeles Clippers are working their way around the absence of their superstar player, Kawhi Leonard. Alongside John Wall, Leonard has missed multiple games at the start of the season. Even though Wall has made his way back onto the court, the same cannot be said for Kawhi Leonard. The 2x NBA Champion has missed games due to injury management by the Clippers’ front office.

It was a sigh of relief for Clippers fans to see Wall come back onto the floor. However, Leonard is still out. There is no official timetable for a return to the court for ‘The Klaw’. The Clippers have built their roster around Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. But lately, it has only been George that has been there for the team on a regular basis.

Kawhi first got bit by the injury bug back when he was with the San Antonio Spurs. An ankle injury deteriorated his relationship with the Spurs’ front office and he forced his way out of San Antonio.

Even though Leonard went on to win a championship with the Toronto Raptors, it seems as if his old injuries have come back to haunt him.

Leonard has only played 2 games out of the team’s 10 games this season. He first appeared against the Los Angeles Lakers, scoring 14 points off the bench. The coaching staff decided to stick to the same strategy in Leonard’s next game against the Phoenix Suns. He scored 11 points in the limited time he played off the bench.
