Rex Chapman joined the league in 1988 when he was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in the first round of the draft. This also happened to be the year Stephen Curry was born. Interestingly, they brought baby Steph along with them whenever they met Chapman. The future NBA champion was only five months old during that time.
