Unsurprisingly, along with all the fame and success, Burgos has also received some major pushback from fans. Likewise, her recent polarizing union with Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown has sparked major controversy. Seemingly, the NBA world isn’t the biggest fan of the couple’s 16-year age gap. Moreover, amid all the mayhem, Burgos also recently broke her toe, which put her in an IV treatment.

However, Burgos is no stranger to hardships in life. She had her first daughter at the age of 15. Similarly, she has also been through some challenging experiences before finding success. Likewise, on her Instagram handle, finding strength in her treatment, the 42-year-old Instagram model shared a motivational and touching video about ‘mistakes’.

The video centered around owning up to one’s mistakes and learning from them. Moreover, it also sported an empowering message about liking oneself. “That’s my biggest achievement in life. I know who I am, I love who I am,” Zoe Saldana said in the video.

“And I like my mistakes, and I like the way I learn from my mistakes…I don’t wanna be anybody else but me,”  she added. The contents of the video eerily represents Burgos’ eventful journey. Throughout her tumultuous life, she has faced sky-high mountains of challenges. However, the 42-year-old has seemingly managed to climb those mountains on the back of her maturity and humility.
