Rockets star addresses potential Jalen Green trade news

As per the article published by Fischer, after hiring Ime Udoka as their new head coach, the Houston Rockets are now looking to make some changes to their roster. Several names have been mentioned in the trade news, including one of the Rockets’ stars, Jalen Green. Apparently, the franchise wants to acquire an established star player in a trade. However, fans found it rather difficult to believe the news, and rightfully so.

Their reluctance soon proved to be right after a beat reporter and podcast host Jackson Gatlin termed the news as “nonsense” on Twitter. Gatlin’s claim strengthened several hours later when Green’s teammate Tari Eason responded to the trade news with a tweet that read, Y?all believe anything”.

Turns out the ‘update’ on Green’s future with the Rockets is just a rumor. However, the same could not be confirmed regarding several other potential trade news.

Jaylen Brown might soon reunite with Udoka

Amid the Jalen Green trade commotion, Yahoo! Sports also reported that the Rockets are targeting Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown. The two-time All-Star was one of Udoka’s most vocal supporters after the head coach was suspended by the Celtics due to policy violations. Therefore, it might not come as a surprise if Udoka decides to seek out Brown as one of the Rockets’ potential new players.
