Shaunie Henderson suggested that there has always been questions about how she changed her life after getting married to a pastor. She felt it was important for her fans to know about it, and the VH1 special will depict her journey.

During the interview, she stated, “Because it’s always been so many questions of like, Oh my God, you know, how are you a pastor’s wife now? And do you just jump from one to the other? I think this special kind of shows my graduation.”

The reality Tv celebrity also shared how she was dealing with her new responsibilities as the first lady. She claimed that growing up around the church had prepped her for the new role. She also talked about her family’s associations with the church.

Moreover, the 48-year-old revealed that she struggled at first considering what people expected of her as the first lady. However, she eventually grew out of the doubts and figured out her own way. She stated, “I can’t meet everybody’s expectations and then I probably never will. And that’s okay.”

Shaq and Shaunie continue to co-parent

Despite their divorce in 2011, Shaquille O’Neal and Shaunie Henderson have always been there for their kids. While Shaunie got indulged in the reality TV world, Shaq has grown his business empire worth an estimated $600 million, as per People.

Further, O’Neal’s smart business investments and ventures have helped him get richer after his retirement from the NBA. His kids will likely be a benefactor of his $600 million worth fortune in the future.
