The greatness of Stephen Curry has been well-documented in the NBA world. His otherworldly skills are a primary reason for the Golden State Warriors bagging so many championship titles. But not everyone can be a Warriors fan. Not definitely, a mom to a Houston Rockets rookie, who was seemingly fed up with the team. Teroya Eason, the mother of Tari Eason, tweeted with emphasis and aggression after the Rockets’ latest loss to the Warriors.

She was clearly annoyed that her son’s team lost in yet another game with the Golden State Warriors.

Notably, this is not the first time she has expressed her frustration at the Warriors as well. She previously said, “There’s absolutely no way this is happening“.

‘Momster’, which is the name of her Twitter handle, compared the team to two big-wigs of basketball.

Peter Press Maravich earned his nickname ‘Pistol Pete’ as the Hall of Famer was famous for being ahead of his time with his circus shots and hotdog passes. Some consider him to be an ultimate showman. But everyone called him the Pistol. For him, the ball was not different from a bullet. It would fall where it was aimed. He would shoot it with great accuracy and range, not unlike the feats Curry pulls off in today’s era of the game.

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, on the other hand, famously struggled with free throws for much of his career. It was perhaps his one fatal flaw. He only shot .527 from the charity stripe. However, Shaq saw it as a way of God humbling him.

Stephen Curry and the Warriors overcome the Rockets

Teroya Eason’s comparison of the two players and associating that with the Warriors is perhaps not far from the truth either. Though Stephen Curry defies age and sometimes gravity, his team is arguably yet to support him to their optimum level.

His touch and infectious energy can invigorate the Warriors. But it was definitely something that Teroya Eason could not digest. Her son, Houston Rockets rookie Tari Eason, finished the game with 13 points on the night. Stephen Curry had over twice his score with 30 points, 10 assists, and 3 rebounds in the Warriors’ 120-101 win on Saturday. The Warriors are now 13-11 for the season while the Rockets sit second last on the Western Conference table with a 6-17 record.
