Soccer legend David Beckham recently crossed paths with the NBA legend and experienced a similar outcome. Shaquille O’Neal recently shared the pictures from Authentic Brands Group’s founder Jamie Salter’s birthday party on Instagram. In one of those pictures with Shaq, Salter can be seen standing on a podium to match the Big Man’s height. It goes without saying, Salter’s attempt was in vain.

Another picture revealed that David Beckham also joined the party. Despite his six-foot frame, Beckham appears quite short standing with the towering figure of the Big Aristotle.

After seeing the pictures, Shaq fans had some hilarious comments, alluding to the NBA star’s towering physique. These are some of the comments from Shaq’s fans. “Dude how huge are you? Or do you choose little people to take pictures with????” “Shaq playing with children 😂😂😂.” “Who saw that Shaq arm is the size of his head 😳😳. HBD king 🤴.” Making them look 4’10.” 

Given the gigantic man O’Neal is, several of his fans also wished to be hugged by him. “Imagine getting hugged by Shaq, that’s the dream right there.”

Shaq’s friendship with Beckham

The seven feet giant and the six feet Soccer Royalty share a bond that is not known to many. From having dinner together to celebrating birthday parties, the two sporting icons come across as good friends. Moreover, earlier this month, the Manchester United legend took to Instagram and wished Shaq on his birthday. Wishing the former MVP, Beck had shared a story of him and the big man enjoying dinner.

Yet another interesting episode in this friendship is the hilarious wallet incident. Once, when DJ Diesel was strolling the streets of Beverly Hills, he found a wallet. After checking the IDs, Shaq was bewildered to find out that it belonged to David Beckham. The big man immediately pulled a prank on Beckham, demanding $1 million in ransom for the lost wallet. Beck knew Shaq was having fun.
