The Warriors have built a strong culture over the years which has helped nurture numerous players. Since they lost many role players who played a key role in last season’s championship, the Warriors have been looking for new recruitments. According to reports, the Warriors will sign a former teammate of two-time MVP, Nikola Jokic.

JaMychal Green was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder last month after a couple of years in Denver. Green is expected to agree to a buyout with the Thunder and then sign with the Golden State Warriors. He is a solid ‘3 and D’ player who will prove to be a solid addition to the wings and likely complement Stephen Curry perfectly.

Stephen Curry and the Warriors need help

The Warriors lost a number of key role players in the free agency. Gary Payton II, Otto Porter Jr., Juan Toscano-Anderson, and Damion Lee all left for pastures new. As a result, the Warriors have been looking to make a number of additions to make up for the lost assets.

While Green will provide cover at the wing positions, Donte DiVincenzo is another new addition to the roster. The Warriors likely won’t be much concerned with the changes as long as the main core remains intact.
