Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal is one of the best centers in the league’s history. The former Los Angeles Lakers star retired over a decade ago from the NBA and is still one of the most relevant personalities in the media sphere due to his candid and upfront personality. Recently, his comments defending women’s NCAA champion Angel Reese landed him in hot waters. However, the Big Diesel stunned the NBA world with another Angel Reese moment following his recent LSU visit.

Like Angel Reese, Shaq played for the LSU Tigers as well, before getting drafted into the NBA. Both players had a run-in during the NBA legend’s recent visit to LSU. 

Shaquille O’Neal meets Angel Reese at his home turf

The Big Diesel was recently seen at his Alma Mater in Baton Rouge for his daughter Me’arah’s recruiting visit. Me’arah, however, is not the only O’Neal to be part of the LSU legacy. Shaq’s son Shareef has played for the Tigers as well.

During Shaq’s recent visit, the campus was taken by storm. Even the newly crowned National Champion put up an Instagram story teasing to stay another year in hopes of possibly playing alongside the Lakers great.

That was not the only thing that had fans excited. A photo was shared online of the LSU stars Shaquille O’Neal and Angel Reese together, where fans could not help but notice their height difference. A user responded to the photo with a curious, “How tall is she? 🤔”

The former Lakers legend is 7’1″ tall and is amongst the tallest players in the league’s history. However, standing at 6’3, Reese doesn’t look ridiculously short compared to Shaq, like most people do in general. On the contrary, she almost makes Shaq look of normal height.

Incidentally, the Big Diesel thinks very highly of the young star and in his podcast, he has boldly stated that Reese is “the greatest athlete to come out of LSU sports”.
