Moreover, Irving has requested to be traded ahead of the trade deadline. However, if the Brooklyn Nets fail to find a suitor before the trade deadline, Irving’s camp has declared that he will leave during the free agency in July.

According to a report by the Atheltic, Joe Tsai and the Nets recently offered an extension to the 30-year-old star with a portion of it guaranteed. However, Irving, who will enter free agency as an unrestricted free agent, declined the extension. Interestingly, according to sources, Irving had also requested a sign-in trade ahead of the season before opting into the last year of his contract.
