Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal and his ex-wife Shaunie O’Neal have often made it to the news headlines, especially in the early 2000s. The couple hosted many lavish parties during those times. Notable ones include the Scarface-themed birthday party with several big names on the guest list and their glitzy wedding ceremony decked with several Ferrari cars. In a similar spirit, Shaunie celebrated a wild bachelorette party ahead of her second wedding, which took place in May 2022.

Though Shaq and Shaunie made lasting memories together as a couple, their marriage didn’t last long. The duo officially divorced in 2011. However, they still maintain a healthy relationship as friends and co-parent their kids.

Shaunie married a famous pastor, Keion Henderson, in a private location with 200 guests. In a recent show, Shaunie & Keion’s Destination ‘I Do,’ the couple discussed the events leading up to their wedding.

Shaunie enjoyed a wild bachelorette party 

In one of the show’s segments, Shaunie discussed her bachelorette party for her then-upcoming wedding on a beach. Shaunie’s friend asked her if she had planned for the party, and her instant response surprised her friends. She said, “No, what are we gonna do?” Jackie, one of her friends, replied, “We gonna do it all, we gonna get naked, and I ain’t in shape, but I will get naked for you.“

Shaunie seemed skeptical about her friend’s idea as she said, “It’s not what you do in a bachelor party.” However, the Basketball Wives star succumbed to her friends’ plan.

Later in the episode, she said, “I’m extremely nervous about allowing Jackie to be the coordinator. I know it’s gonna be something, but WHAT is the scary part.”

The Big Aristotle and Shaunie arranged a royal wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel on December 26, 2002. Though the couple kept the media away from the ceremony, a television news helicopter captured images from the reception. NBA stars, friends, and family of the couple attended the wedding amid police dogs sniffing around and a bunch of Ferraris lined up.
