In what has come as shocking news, the NBA world and the Kardashian family stood united with Tristan Thompson earlier in the day. As per reports, the Thompson family finds themselves mourning the irreplaceable loss of Tristan’s mother. Andrea Thompson passed away on the 5th of January at her house in Toronto due to a heart attack. TMZ Sports confirmed and reported the saddening news on the 6th of January.
As per other sources like the People website, Tristan immediately made his way to his mother’s house and his former partner Khloe Kardashian reportedly joined him. Supposedly, Khloe and Tristan’s mother shared a close connection after she gave birth to the ex-couple’s daughter, True.

As Khloe focuses on being there for the Thompson family, her mother Kris Jenner took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news. She wrote a long caption and paired it with a photo dump featuring Andrea, Tristan, Khloe, and True.

Kris wrote, “I am so heartbroken by the sudden passing of Tristan’s mom, Andrea”. She conveyed her thoughts and prayers to the Thompson family while highlighting the quality of Andrea. Jenner wrote that Andrea was a highly devoted and selfless mother. She stated that Tristan’s mom was filled with love, compassion, and kindness.

Kris added that she’d miss the energy and passion that Andrea brought with her every day. She ended the post by expressing her gratitude to Tristan’s mom and wrote “Rest in peace beautiful angel”. Khloe’s best friends Khadijah and Kathy Hilton commented on the post and expressed their love for the family.

Apart from the Kardashian family, Tristan saw the NBA World come together to support him. They showered him with immense compassion during this tumultuous time.
