However, the former MVP rarely spares anyone online. Likewise, he had a savage reply ready to go for Hicks. The Slim Reaper said: “I don’t have to explain myself to Jordan hicks. Who are u again?”

Durant has arguably been opposed to the media for the longest time. Moreover, his Twitter antics go a long way. Hence, this attack wasn’t a surprise to many. However, he didn’t stop at just one. Durant continued his onslaught on Hicks. In a since-deleted tweet, he said the reporter is acting desperate for attention.

What does the Slim Reaper’s return mean for the Brooklyn Nets?

The biggest off-season target for the Nets was undoubtedly securing the services of their franchise cornerstone. At 33, KD is still one of the most elite offensive players in the NBA. Coming off a near 30-point season, his motors are still running fresh. Moreover, with trade talks for Kyrie Irving freezing up, he will likely have a reliable scoring partner on his side.

While this duo has hardly played together over a consistent period of time, the potential is through the roofs. Arguably, a pair of two unique scorers is scary enough. However, Brooklyn has another big mystery with them, and that is Ben Simmons.

After his fiasco in the playoffs last season, the former All-Star guard is eager to get back. However, Simmons could be the missing key for the Nets. At 6’10” he is one of the most versatile defenders in the league. Ranking as one of the best, he can take any assignment without much trouble. In addition, his playmaking skills often go unnoticed, putting up almost eight assists for his career so far.
