NBA legend Dennis Rodman and actress Carmen Electra were in a relationship for a few years. Like Rodman, Electra was very popular for her role in the action drama series ‘Baywatch.’ The high-profile couple captured the spotlight with their off-the-court antics. The lovers tied the knot in 1998 but Rodman filed for an annulment just nine days later. However, they reconciled soon after. Then Electra filed for a divorce the next year. However, Dennis Rodman has never shied away from answering questions about his multiple relationships.

He once revealed some intimate details about the time they met in the ‘No Jumper’ podcast. Rodman said, “It was amazing when I met her and she took her clothes off, I was like, ‘Oh my god! I got an asthma attack!’ I was like, ‘What the f**k! Wow! Oh my god!’…”

The host of the podcast admitted Carmen Electra is still very good-looking.

Then Rodman talked about how they both decided to marry each other initially. However, the marriage did not last long as the actress filed for a divorce the next year. The couple was once even detained by the police for fighting in a hotel in Miami, Florida.

The couple had been spending time favorite penthouse suite in Miami. But they started arguing about something that was on M-TV. As people started hearing all the yelling between the two celebrities, someone decided to the police. Once the police arrived at the scene, things escalated and Rodman and Electra were arrested. This captured a lot of headlines at the time given the superstars’ popularity.

Furthermore, it looked like they might have to spend a couple of days in jail. However, an attorney was able to help them get bail quickly. Therefore, they didn’t have to spend the night in jail.

Dennis Rodman was at the tail end of his illustrious career at the time. After winning three titles for the Chicago Bulls, he joined the Los Angeles Lakers. The five-time NBA champion was one of the best rebounders ever and is also a great defender. The ‘Worm’ could defend anyone on the floor and did not hesitate to dive for a loose ball.

But his off-the-court antics did not sit well with a lot of people. His reputation for partying preceded him. While the legendary head coach Phil Jackson knew how to handle him, others did not. As a result, Rodman was often misunderstood by people for his unique ways.
