It has always been a point of pride for NBA legend Dwyane Wade to be very open about his life, his relationship, and his relationship with his children. On several platforms, he has spoken about parenthood and how he ensures that his children have everything they need.

In addition to holding interviews, his new photographic memoir ‘Dwyane’ allows you to review his life and the success he had in his professional career. Additionally, he has also discussed what his childhood was like as well as his goals as a parent.

It is no surprise that he has always been honest about what his childhood was like and what he hopes for his children, mentioning the hardships he faced. The man explained briefly the relationship he has with his children and what he envisioned for their future in an interview.

During his interview with Brandon Marshall’s ‘I AM ATHLETE’ (IAA) podcast, Wade discussed everything under the sun. Whether it’s Michael Jordan or Wade’s friend, LeBron James, who is the greatest of all time.

Wade spoke about his parenting style. The conversation also featured former NFL stars Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor, as well as special guest co-host Ryan Clark.

Dwyane Wade on the importance of fulfilling his children’s needs

Throughout the interview, he discussed what being a father was like, as well as his daughter Zaya’s journey coming out as transgender.

“I don’t care what my kids become, all I want for them is to be happy in life and be themselves in the process of life,” explained Wade. “Whoever you are or whoever you’re going to be, it’s my job to facilitate those things and help you succeed in those things.”

He also promised to do everything in his power to make sure his children have access to the things they need. “You know what I’m saying? I got tv show. Whatever it is, I gotta figure out a way to make sure that my kids are getting what they need.”
