WNBA star Brittney Griner and fellow star Glory Johnson had an ugly divorce. Johnson initially only dated men before Griner approached. The couple was soon engaged. However, the two got into an ugly fight, and both sustained minor injuries. Then the lovers were arrested for domestic violence. The police put them both in the same cell where they had the time to reflect on the things that had unfolded. The couple agreed that they went overboard during the fight.

Griner pleaded guilty, but Johnson did not. But the WNBA suspended them both for 7 games. Interestingly, Johnson said that the fight had made them both closer than before. She also said that her fiancé was happy that she stuck with her. And promised that she would take efforts to make their time together worthwhile. And surprisingly, the basketball stars married one month after their altercation, even though some of Johnson’s family members were against it.
