Shaquille O’Neal uses Jay-Z song to criticize Kanye West

O’Neal recently shared the Kill Jay-Z song by popular rapper Jay-Z on his Instagram stories. It seemed Shaq intended to remind Kanye West of his issues with Jay-Z, who is known to have helped West establish a successful career in hip-hop.

It seemed like Shaq was pointing at Kanye West’s betrayal of the $1.5 billion worth rap superstar. The Kill Jay-Z song is perceived to be a Kanye West diss. Shaq’s post has come amid his Twitter feud with Kanye West about his business venture with Canadian businessman Jamie Salter.

Kanye West and Jay-Z were friends for a long time. The rap duo released their first album, Watch the Throne, in 2011. However, the two popular rappers found themselves amid disagreements after West reportedly ranted about Jay-Z’s family at a concert. Following the incident, Jay-Z distanced himself from Kanye West.

Jay-Z appeared in an interview after the release of The Kill Jay-Z song in 2017. He said“Ye ranted about Hov at a concert. What really hurts me was, you can’t bring my wife and my kids into it…Like, Kanye is my little brother.”

Meanwhile, Jay-Z claimed that his song was about himself and not a Kanye West diss. Jay-Z and West are believed to have parted ways after the incident.
