The Miami Heat seem to be in a mood for trolling the NBA after getting fined prior to one of their games. The Heat went up against the Oklahoma City Thunder but were fined $25,000 for failing to properly disclose their injury report. So, in order to avoid the same thing happening again, the Heat may have gone with a petty yet hilarious move.
The team played with an eight-man lineup against the Rockets. With a 15-15 record, the Miami Heat are currently in 8th place on the Eastern Conference table. A team with a lot of potential and talent, the Heat have also struggled like some of the other big powerhouses in the league.

But the actual reason for the Heat’s struggles can be pinned down to multiple injuries to key rotation players. So, when the Heat failed to properly report their injury list prior to their game against the Thunder, the team went in a different direction prior to their game against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Miami Heat ended up listing all 17 of their players on the roster to the injury report. And that level of pettiness just NBA fans in shambles.

Swear they haven’t had less then 8 players on their injury report all season… not even sure how it’s possible, that training staff needs to be tarred and feathered

They always list people on there for no reason. Half the team was against Philly every playoff game. Pretty annoying tbh

Though many Heat players are injured or probable for the next game, for the Heat to list all of them on the injury report was a bold yet funny move.
The Heat are shorthanded
Unfortunately, a lot of Heat players are injured on their roster at the moment. After missing a huge chunk of the start of the season, Victor Oladipo has just returned from his injury. Yet he still did not play against the Houston Rockets.

Also, the Heat’s guard Gabe Vincent stayed on the sidelines as well. Although Oladipo is finally back in the lineup, the team is still limiting his minutes due to injury management.
