NBA legend Dennis Rodman is arguably one of the best rebounders ever despite not being a center. Over the course of his career, he has won five NBA titles. Two straight with the Detroit Pistons and three straight with their rivals the Chicago Bulls. Superstars joining rival teams has become a common occurrence in the league. In recent times, superstar Kevin Durant joined the Golden State Warriors after the Dubs beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in the playoffs. Subsequently, he received a lot of criticism as many called him out for chasing a ring.
Stephen Curry and the Warriors won the 2014-15 NBA finals beating LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. In the 2015-16 season, the Warriors broke the regular season win record set by Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. In the Western Conference Finals, the Warriors faced the Thunder led by superstars Durant and Russell Westbrook.

And Dennis Rodman felt that it was selfish of KD to say that. “I think the mentality of the players today are totally different than that we had back then, like in the 90s and early 2000. I think it is very selfish of KD seriously, you know,” stated Rodman.
He continued, “I think the fact that we got the opportunity to play this game. Especially at a high high level. Especially when you have this easy to go out there and perform to make $40, $45 million a year.”

The five-time champion also stated he could not understand why the former MVP would come out and make a statement like that.
The Warriors went for a three-peat in Durant’s final season for them and played the Finals against Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors. But the Raptors shocked the world and came out on top winning their first-ever championship.
