It was a good night for the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, but not so much for the Houston Rockets. The Warriors defeated the Rockets 127-120, registering their first away win for the season after eight consecutive losses on the road. Furthermore, a certain Rockets star’s mother was furious with both Stephen Curry and the fans who had come to watch the game. Shortly after the Rockets’ loss, Tari Eason’s mother took to Twitter to express her anger.

The Golden State Warriors played their 17th game of the season against the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center in Houston. Fortunately for Warriors fans, their team managed to get the win, leaving the defending champions with an 8-9 record for the season so far.

However, Tari Eason’s mother Teroya Eason called out the Warriors superstar Stephen Curry for being a “dry” player when her son was on the court. Additionally, she also didn’t like the fact that despite being Houston natives, most fans seemed to be cheering for the Warriors instead.

The mother of four accused the four-time NBA champion of only making “splashes” when Eason was on the bench. Eason is a 21-year-old Rockets rookie who entered the league through the 2022 NBA draft. He was selected by the Rockets as the 17th overall pick. The Rockets are having a rough so far as they find themselves 3-14 for the season so far, currently in last place on the Western Conference table.

Stephen Curry’s Warriors beat the Rockets in Houston

The Golden State Warriors won their second consecutive game on Sunday. Stephen Curry scored 33 points with 15 assists and 6 rebounds. Fellow Warriors superstar Klay Thompson led the team with 41 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Additionally, Andrew Wiggins scored 22 points and 5 rebounds on the night.

On the other hand, Kevin Porter Jr. led the Houston Rockets by scoring 30 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Jabari Smith Jr. averaged 22 points with 7 rebounds, and 1 assist. Rockets guard Jalen Green added 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Tari Eason scored 19 points with 8 rebounds. The Warriors will be facing the New Orleans Pelicans on November 20, whereas the Rockets will play against the Atlanta Hawks?next on November 25.
