Patrick Beverley hilariously impersonates Giannis Antetokounmpo

Before getting traded to the Los Angeles Lakers and playing alongside LeBron James, Patrick Beverley had a brief stint in Minnesota last year. Incidentally, in one of the road games, the Timberwolves faced off against the then-reigning champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. The competitive bone in Beverley made him look forward to playing against the then reigning Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

However, before the game, it appeared Beverley’s plans of matching up against 7′ Antetokounmpo would not realize that night. As Beverley suited up for their second matchup for the season, he noticed on the board that Giannis’ was not listed for the game. Furious, Beverley met the Greek Freak’s brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo and exclaimed,?“What’s up, your brother is duckin the smoke?”?However, amidst an uneventful conversation with Thanasis, the Lakers point guard saw the 2x MVP walking out of the locker room.?

Beverley narrated the humorous exchange that followed after Giannis showed up. On the PatBev podcast, while reflecting on the exchange, the 34-year-old made an uncanny impression of Antetokounmpo, “Excuse me guys, excuse me guys,”?which left his co-host in uncontrollable laughter. He then narrated the incident from the POV of Giannis with the creative impression,?“Never duck smoke, Pat, never duck smoke… I was in the back eating pasta, but never duck smoke Pat, never.”?
