“I Was Traumatized… He Punishes Me”: Ex-Wife Larsa Dished Out Harsh Revelation on Scottie Pippen After Divorce

While speaking on an episode of ‘The Real Housewives of Miami‘, Larsa Pippen opened up about her ex-husband, former Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen. The episode came out about two months after a court finalized the couple’s divorce on December 15, 2021. The couple had already split up several years before the divorce, as Scottie had initially filed for divorce back in 2016.

Larsa Pippen reportedly called the police and claimed that her husband was being aggressive with her. The dispatch then asked her if her husband was being verbal or physical. That’s when Scottie jumped in on the conversation and said that it is verbal. Larsa then told the police not to come, but she made the same call three days later, claiming that her husband had gotten crazy again. According to PEOPLE, the divorce was filed shortly after the 911 call recordings were made.

Larsa talks about Scottie Pippen’s ‘controlling’ ways

According to Insider, Larsa Pippen said that she was ‘traumatized’. Larsa even called her ex-husband ‘The Punisher’. During the interview, Larsa also admitted to trying to get Scottie to sell their house in Miami. In return, Scottie told her to send their 14-year-old daughter back to Los Angeles.

“I was traumatized. If he doesn’t get his way, he punishes me, he’s like The Punisher,” she said.

Larsa went on to add that Scottie was, “used to controlling the narrative”. She claimed that he was getting back at her for trying to persuade him to sell the house.

She further said that Scottie was, “pushing all the buttons to let me know that he’s still in charge and because I’m doing whatever makes me happy.”

Scottie’s lawyer, Roberta G. Stanley, released a statement addressing the 911 call records. She pointed out that Larsa hadn’t accused Scottie of any kind of physical violence, and requested people to respect the couple’s privacy during the time.

Scottie Pippen and Larsa’s relationship timeline

The former Chicago Bulls player met Larsa in 1995, shortly after his engagement with Yvette De Leon broke. Not long after, the two started dating. Scottie was in the peak of his basketball career by that time. Two years later in 1997, the couple tied the knot and welcomed their first son in the year 2000. They then went on to have two more sons and a daughter, born in 2008.

Their marriage started falling apart eight years after their youngest daughter was born. After Scottie filed for divorce, the duo decided to give their marriage a second chance and tried to make it work. But, their second attempt only lasted two years. And this time, Larsa filed for divorce from Scottie.

The following year, in an interview with Us Weekly, Larsa talked about co-parenting their kids and said, “[We] are really best friends, Our kids are amazing, and I feel like we both parent the same way. We’re really traditional in the way we raise our children. That’s really important.”
