Although Adele has had a very public love life with LeBron James‘ agent Rich Paul, she has never publicly expressed her appreciation for her secret idol Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Recently, her dream of meeting him finally came true at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. 

Since it was also a live TV broadcast, Adele was completely blown away and her happiness was clearly evident. During the introduction, Trevor Noah switched the spotlight from himself to the singer, sharing his opening remarks in between. 

It was an incredible moment for Adeele to get nominated seven times at the 2023 awards. At the Crypto.com Arena, she was sitting next to her boyfriend Rich Paul. And while the spotlight was shining on Adele, it wasn’t only her expressions but also her boyfriend’s expressions that made waves on social media. 

“This is one of the strangest things I’ve found out. The person that Adele has wanted to meet, but never has is Dwayne Johnson,” Noah remarked. Adele nodded in agreement. “You’ve never met him.” It was the first time the two stars had met. “And I found out that he’s a huge fan of yours,” he continued.

“I don’t have someone named Dwayne Johnson here, but I do have someone called ‘The Rock’,” Noah added. Adele was in a state of shock and could be seen to be extremely excited. Following that he said, “You two get acquainted. We have to keep the show moving”.

Paul and Adele have been dating since the summer of 2021, and their love is quite visible on social media for fans to see. The couple attended their first Grammy Awards together. Notably, Adele won her 16th Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance for her song ‘Easy on Me’.
