Interestingly enough, Hip Hop legend Ice Cube did not include names like LeBron and Shaquille O’Neal while naming his top 4 players. When asked about the players he would put on the Mount Rushmore of the league, Ice Cube had some interesting choices.

Ice Cube snubs LeBron James and other stars in a Top-4 tier list

There is no denying LeBron James is one of the greatest players ever. The NBA legend has 4 titles to his name among various other individual accolades. Moreover, he is the 2nd highest scorer on the NBA All-Time list and is expected to overtake the Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar soon.

However, Hip-Hop legend Ice Cube snubbed him during an interview. When asked about the 4 players Ice Cube would put on the Mount Rushmore of the NBA, he gave an interesting answer.

He said, “Oh man, I gotta put Magic Johnson up there, Michael Jordan. You know, I have to put Wilt Chamberlain and I don’t know, I guess I put Kobe Bryant up there. To me, those are just talents that nobody can match.”

Interestingly enough, stars like Shaquille O’Neal and Stephen Curry were also ignored. These names are not a rarity when talking about some of the greatest players in the NBA, however, Ice Cube thought otherwise.

What team does the Hip Hop legend support?

Ice Cube was born in Los Angeles and naturally chose a team from his hometown as his favorite. However, it is not a very obvious choice. Ice Cube supports the Los Angeles Clippers, as revealed in an interview with ESPN.

Interestingly enough, he called the Clippers the little brother of the Los Angeles Lakers. According to him, the Clippers had a lot of talent on their roster but they never kept them.
