The actor in question is Mark Wahlberg. He joined Shaq and the rest of the crew in a very recent episode of the program and was asked a question. Shaq asked Wahlberg what would he do if a promoter asked him to play one of his hip-hop avatars which urged the actor to give a very generous answer.
Mark Wahlberg gave an interesting answer to Shaq’s question
Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch was a hip-hop group founded by Mark Wahlberg himself. Although it has been quite some time since we have seen that side of the actor, it seems he has no problem getting into that avatar again.
Shaquille O’Neal recently asked Wahlberg whether he would ressurrect Marky Mark or not. Moreover, he also added $200 million to the deal.
Wahlberg wasted no time as he said he would readily accept the deal. Interestingly enough, he would give away 100 of the $200 million to charity.
Shaq said, “Mark be honest, if a promoter pays you $200 million to bring Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch back, would you do it?” Wahlberg promptly replied, “Yes, and I’d give a $100 million to charity.”
Much like Wahlberg, Shaq has his fair share of history with hip-hop. Known as Shaq Diesel, the Big Man has multiple platinum records to his name with collaborations with icons like the Notorious B.I.G and Wu-Tang Clan.
