Rodman had a famous beef with one of his coaches

Rodman is best remembered for his time with the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons. However, he also had a short and eventful stint with the San Antonio Spurs. During his time with the Spurs, he fell off with GM Gregg Popovich.

In his book ‘Bad as I Wanna Be’, Rodman described Popovich as the biggest problem during his time at the Spurs. He wrote, “The biggest problem in San Antonio was Gregg Popovich, the general manager. He wanted to be the coach and the general manager.”

Despite not having a good relationship with the Pop, he produced extraordinary rebounding numbers. Rodman left the Spurs after two seasons averaging 5.6 points, 2.2 assists, and 17.1 rebounds.
