Charles Barkley questions Jake Paul’s talents

In a recent appearance on The Steam Room podcast, Bomani Jones revealed that he and his Game Theory team researched Jake Paul’s betting app project, and the pro boxer was aware of it. Jones claimed to have sensed anxiousness on Paul’s end when he was asked about the betting app. The renowned journalist suggested that the interview went downhill as Paul tried to insult him instead of answering his questions reasonably. Bomani Jones laid out Jake was asked about some critical aspects of his operation, but Paul chose to avoid them instead of answering them.

Jones added, “He’s a social media dude who’s viewed as a novelty. So I think people typically interview him as a novelty. But he has figured out how to make $40 million in one year fighting boxing matches against people who aren’t boxers. So I guess I have to take him seriously now. And I didn’t think he was ready to be taken seriously.”

Meanwhile, Barkley shared his take on the interview by pointing out how Jake Paul got mad about the question about losing. Charles Barkley stated, “He’s not fighting real boxers. But, at some point, he is gonna, well I don’t know, but he probably gonna know that if he, plus if he tried to fight like a real boxer and your question like, ‘What’s your next move?’ And, that’s when he got. I know all the other stuff was going on, but like, Yo man! What happens if you do lose? Because once you lose the novelty is gonna be off.”

How did Jake Paul react to Jones’ question?

While talking about Jake Paul’s popularity, Bomani Jones asked Paul what would happen if he lost a fight. However, Paul should have taken the question about losing so well. In six boxing fights, the 26-year-old has won all so far with four knockouts.
