However, Pippen was not impressed with the way he was portrayed. The third comrade-in-arms Dennis Rodman speaks a lot about their friendship and showed his support for Pippen.

According to Rodman, Pippen was the most underrated and underpaid athlete in the NBA. He said that Pippen was different than other small forwards of that time, he can play in multiple positions and was an all-rounder.

LeBron James took the mantle in this generation and built a far greater and unparalleled legacy. James, predominantly a small forward, is considered one of the greatest players ever.

But Rodman thinks, “If LeBron was playing during the ’90s, I’d still say Scottie Pippen was the second-best player behind Michael Jordan.”
