In contrast, the most controversial yet iconic Dennis Rodman made once a daring comment regarding LeBron James which could trigger many fans.

The Last Dance presented the untold stories of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls’ triumph. The relationship between Jordan and Scottie Pippen was also covered in the docuseries. However, Pippen was not impressed with the way he was portrayed. The third comrade-in-arms Dennis Rodman speaks a lot about their friendship and showed his support for Pippen.

According to Rodman, Pippen was the most underrated and underpaid athlete in the NBA. He said that Pippen was different than other small forwards of that time, he can play in multiple positions and was an all-rounder.

Dennis Rodman stated Scottie Pippen revolutionized the small forward position. He had the ability to shoot, defend, and rebound. Furthermore, Pippen is remembered as one of the best players of all time and a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. LeBron James took the mantle in this generation and built a far greater and unparalleled legacy. James, predominantly a small forward, is considered one of the greatest players ever.

But Rodman thinks, “If LeBron was playing during the ’90s, I’d still say Scottie Pippen was the second-best player behind Michael Jordan.”

Well, this was not the only time Rodman made a comment on the Los Angeles Lakers legend. Once he said, ?If LeBron was playing in the late ?80s and early ?90s, he would be just an average player.??
However, there are other legends who believe James would have dominated any era. It is a never-ending argument.
