Recently, ESPN published a detailed prediction report declaring Victor Wembanyama to be the first pick of 2023. The report projected the Detroit Pistons to have the first pick. Hence, this meant that the star with an 8-feet wingspan would potentially flaunt the Pistons jersey next season. This report left the NBA world in a frenzied state.

The report projected that 18 year old would be the second pick in the 2023 drafts. Additionally, the mock draft stated that Henderson would play for the Houston Rockets.

However, the point guard has been on the sidelines in the G-League due to concussion protocols and a nasal fracture. Following the concussion, the G-League has been hesitant to give the youngster a green signal. The motivation behind this was “to protect his body for his long-term goals.”
