Michael Jordan to lead scoring in today’s time according to analyst

Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls dominated the league for an entire decade. During his time in the league, the rules were quite different. While technical fouls are given nowadays for arguing, the 90s were entirely different. That era of basketball was incredibly physical contrary to what the game is currently.

For this reason, Jeff Van Gundy feels Jordan would’ve dominated. Moreover, although the scoring nowadays is focused on 3-point shooting, it would’ve not been a problem for the six-time NBA champion. Therefore, he would be averaging 40 points a game given the modern-day rules and the gameplay.

Van Gundy said following up on his claim, “If you would give the ball to Jordan in his prime with these rules, with all the shooting, and think that he wasn’t going to shoot over 50%? Michael shot over 50% with limited 3-point shooting, and limited space in the triangle offense.”
