Moreover, Jordan once took his stubbornness outside his family, as the Houston Rockets star Jalen Green recently narrated a hilarious incident.

Jalen Green narrates a hilarious Michael Jordan story

In a recent podcast episode of Podcast P with Paul George, Jalen Green narrated a hilarious Michael Jordan incident from his childhood, when Paul George asked him if he had ever met MJ. The 21-year-old star said that Jordan made him replace his sneakers with Air Jordan when he wore Adidas shoes for a Michael Jordan camp in San Diego. Green added, “He just walked over to me and was like, you need to take them weak a** Adidas slides off… You need some Jordan slides.”

When Green had no Jordans on him, MJ brought a few slides for the star. He further expressed his take on the unexpected conversation with MJ, “I’m a little-a** kid though and he is talking about get rid of the weak a** slides.”

As mentioned earlier, MJ has unreal loyalty toward the brand Nike, as he once covered the US Olympics jacket with the national flag to hide the Adidas logo. When MJ expressed his disdain for other brands to outsiders, the stories inside his own household are even more hilarious.

During a podcast conversation after the release of the docuseries, The Last Dance, Jordan’s kids narrated their father’s strict sneakers rules in the house. When the host asked them whether MJ allowed them to wear any other brands, three of them lunged forward with a ‘No’ in uniform. Interestingly, the NBA legend didn’t let his daughter Jasmine Jordan wear a ‘light-up’ sneaker as a seven-year-old.
