Despite James’ 12-26 at the field, he was able to contribute 31 points to the Lakers’ overall score, making a couple of three-pointers in the fourth quarter. While playing shot by shot, James and his teammate, Buddy Hield, showed great coordination. Hield had an average of 26 points and made seven three-pointers by himself. Russell Westbrook, on the other hand, did not have the best of starts with a 1-7 record at the field while carrying a technical foul in the first quarter. However, other teammates of the Lakers carried the team afterward. Westbrook had 19 points at halftime, but zero turnovers until the end of the game.
