LeBron James recently commented on some of the players he’s been following on Twitter, claiming that his 18-year-old son Bronny James is superior to some of them. Expectations have raised for the younger James, who is still in high school and won’t be able to play in the NBA until 2024–2025. Despite being his father’s favorite and a great asset to high school basketball, Bronny is set to make his college decision. He recently broke his silence.

For a while now, Bronny has been making waves in the world of basketball, and his recent showing at the McDonald’s All-American Game has only indicated his potential for the NBA further. Bronny showed off his amazing skills as a basketballer by scoring 15 points and nailing five three-pointers despite his team’s defeat. His father would also like to play alongside him in the NBA.

LeBron James’ son breaks his silence on college

Bronny James, a top-40 recruit, is free to attend any institution of his choosing, according to LeBron James. James says his kid has a “top five or six” list of schools he’s considering, including Oregon, USC, and Ohio State. However, rumors have it that Bronny had reduced his list of possible institutions to only three. Whatever it is, LeBron surely wishes that he gets the chance to play alongside his son in the NBA.

LeBron emphasizes that Bronny’s decision will be based on his own talent and potential, rather than any favors he could call in, even if he has family ties to all three schools. Regardless of his surname, Bronny’s skills are surely in great demand as the top uncommitted prospect for the class of 2023.

Bronny maintains his focus on his present and future objectives despite the buzz around his potential NBA career. In a recent interview, he said that when it comes to picking a college to attend, he intends to make the choice for himself. After the Nike Hoop Summit, talking about his college decision, Bronny James said, “At the end of the day it’s my decision and I am going to do what is best for me.”
