She was in Atlanta for the “Daddy’s Little Girls” filming. Hype Williams, Shaka Zulu, and the mayor of Atlanta were along with her. She was trying to be proactive and prepared, as she had been experiencing some stomach trouble. They headed to a strip club, Magic City.

However, before going into the club, they stopped at a gas station. She walked into a neighboring convenience store to buy some Xlax. Union tried to be stealthy because she was accompanied by others and somehow managed to take Xlax without anyone noticing. She was hoping she’ll feel better after taking the meds. The trio then arrived at the strip club, and the Hennessy began to flow. This was when things went south for Gabrielle Union.

As soon as she stepped foot into the building, her arrival was announced. She then got surrounded by people and was feeling herself until she didn’t. She started sweating profusely. Gabrielle Union could feel the situation slipping out of her hands. Could this night get any worse? Unfortunately for her, it did.

She said in the interview,

“Oh I’m dying. I’m glad it’s happening. This is how I’m gonna literally die in a strip club.”

Gabrielle Union received help and support

However, a girl that had been dancing with her through the night helped her out. She guided her to a private bathroom. Her relief was, however, short-lived. The private bathroom was a relatively small space and there were people in it. They would hear what was going to go down. Alas, she had no choice.
