The Nuggets waited 47 years to lay their hands on the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy. Unlike their previous outings, the Miami Heat gave a tough fight in game 5 and maintained a steady lead at the end of the first three quarters. Despite the valiant efforts of Jimmy Butler’s men, the team couldn’t cross the line. On the other hand, the Denver franchise produced an unbreakable defense which the Heat could barely penetrate.

Amid emotional cries and cheers, Nikola Jokic caught fans’ attention when he shared a heartwarming moment with his 1.5-year-old daughter. Following the wholesome moment, the picture with his daughter went viral as fans flooded social media with love.

The Monday night scenes from the Ball Arena would have been permanently etched into the memory of every Nuggets fan. Nikola Jokic carried home a double delight as he won the Finals MVP title. Notably, Joker is the lowest draft pick to win a Finals MVP. Despite the emotional scene around him, Jokic didn’t let his guard down and said, The job is done, we can go home now,” during the post-game interview.

The 2x MVP won fans’ hearts with a wholesome picture with his daughter. During the trophy presentation ceremony, Jokic came to the center court with his daughter and a picture of him wearing the championship cap on her went viral on social media.
