Former NBA star Charles Barkley recently admitted that he is not on the same level as Steph Curry in basketball parlance. He spoke about his experience in doing voiceover for a commercial featuring Tom Brady, Serena Williams, and Stephen Curry. Charles Barkley hilariously recalled his memories about an opportunity to work with some GOATs of their respective sports. The commercial included Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who also received praise from Barkley.
Charles Barkley is currently an analyst on ‘Inside The NBA’, a show which he co-hosts alongside Shaquille O’Neal. He recently appeared on ‘Takeoff’ a show on NBC Sports to talk with host John Clark. Along with the drama surrounding Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers, Barkley also talked about a particular commercial for which he performed a voiceover.
Barkley recalls, “My agent calls me, he says, hey, how big is your ego? I said, well, everybody’s got an ego. What’s going on? He says, well, they got Tom Brady and Serena and Steph Curry in a commercial. So they want you to do the voiceover. I said, is the check gonna clear? He said, yeah, you’re gonna get a big old check.”

He continued speaking, “I’ve had a great success as a basketball player. But I’m not on a level with Tom Brady. Serena and Steph Curry. They are on a whole another level. And they gonna pay me to talk about them. Hey, sign me up.”
‘Sir Charles’, as he is popularly known, Charles Barkley was an 11-time NBA All-Star. His comments about him not being on the same level as Steph Curry are surprising. Barkley was voted as NBA’s Most Valuable Player in 1993 with the Phoenix Suns.
