Shaquille O’Neal has a plethora of achievements in basketball and he has accomplished a lot more off the court ever since his retirement. Apart from being a philanthropist and a sports analyst, the 7’1″ giant is also an accomplished DJ who specializes in electronic dance music.

The Hall of Famer has performed at multiple music festivals under the moniker of ‘DJ Diesel’. He even has a separate Instagram account for his musical persona. Recently, Shaq was seen going crazy at the Tomorrowland Music Festival in Belgium. It’s not the first time a video of O’Neal dancing has surfaced online.

Shaquille O’Neal had his first experience of an electronic music festival in 2015 at TomorrowWorld. In an interview with Forbes, O’Neal mentioned, “Being at TomorrowWorld brought me back to Game 7 energy.”

The Los Angeles Lakers legend has previously stated that he isn’t in this business for money. He loves playing a set for any crowd and he has even lost money because of the costs involved. Although the big man had no prior experience with electronic music, he had released studio rap albums during his playing days.

O’Neal commented on the post, “No better feeling than enjoying the music I love with my people“. Shaq shared the post as his story on Instagram and fans reacted accordingly.

Shaq specializes in remixing songs of famous artists. However, he has also collaborated with famous DJs such as Steve Aoki for his own productions. In fact, his son Myles O’Neal is also spinning records in the DJing industry.
