The skills and accomplishments that LeBron James made in NBA history are without question. He was dubbed “the king of the NBA.” Due to his loss in the finals, some people questioned his game and held a misconception about him.

In an interview with Bootleg Kev, Iman Shumpert discussed the misconceptions about James and how he is the best player on paper. Iman shared some of his experiences with King James about his professional and personal outlook on life.

According to Iman Shumpert, LeBron James plays the right way

In the interview, Iman was asked about the biggest misconception people have about James’ mentioning his play during the championships. Iman referred to Lebron as the best athlete in the NBA due to his ability to maintain both; personal life and a professional one. According to him:

He lost in the finals, that’s why people have that stigma of him. He is undeniably like when you on paper this is the best athlete! I don’t think we have seen a better one that can speak in public…Uh be great with his family give us a great you know what I’m saying like a performance every night, he’s not gonna get drunk the night before and have a terrible game or something he’s not gonna give us uh..some like dirty plays

Furthermore, he discussed the only thing he lacks, talking about the flopping he does. One time Iman asked James about it, and he explained that he has to get the free throws, saying if the other player gets it, James is gonna get hit. Considering his physical appearance as strong, people cannot see it.

Following that, he commented that James works hard in every game as it takes a day or two to get some rest. Other than that, he concluded that no one has been so disciplined and faithful towards the game.

When he loses, there is a misconception that he is not operating at his fullest capacity, but he is actually doing his best, as this is his style. James is known for playing the right way.
