The Phoenix Suns have been the most dominant team this year. After their loss in the finals last year, Chris Paul and co. seem determined for a ring this year. The Suns have had a pretty good trade deadline pulling off the Torey Craig deal, and the latest news suggests that star player Deandre Ayton was on his way out.

The latest news around the center reports that the Indiana Pacers and Phoenix Suns talked about a trade. The trade involved Deandre Ayton and Domantas Sabonis.
According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, “The Pacers and Phoenix Suns had brief dialogue around Sabonis and Deandre Ayton, multiple sources say.” He further added, “It did not get far, sources say, and may have been mostly informal and broadly exploratory and aimed at the future rather than anything now. No formal offer was ever made by either side.”
Ultimately the Pacers traded Sabonis to the Sacramento Kings for Buddy Hield, Haliburton, and Tristan Thompson.
