NBA Analyst ‘attacks’ Stephen Curry’s Warriors

Since the regular season began, the Golden State Warriors have played 31 away games and lost in 24 of them. While the Warriors are the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference, they have seemingly performed better in their home court in contrast to the road games. In the recent episode of the NBA First Take, sports commentator and analyst Stephen A. Smith gave his take on the Warriors’ mediocre display in the away games.

When asked if the Warriors’ inadequate performance were a ‘real problem’, Smith replied, “Of course it is. I mean we all know how I feel about the Warriors. I picked them to win last year and had them represent this year again. This year on the road, they are inexplicably atrocious. It’s just that simple. To the Golden State Warriors, I don’t know what the hell is going on but there’s no excuse to be 7-24 on the road. That is just an utter embarrassment and a disgrace for a reigning champion.”

Additionally, Smith complimented Klay Thompson for his impressive performance in the recent games. The ‘Splash brother’ had been carrying his team in Steph’s absence and doing well on his own. The 5x NBA All-Star is averaging 22.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.

Anthony Davis ruins Steph’s comeback

After missing 11 games, NBA fans were anticipating a big Stephen Curry comeback during the game against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, Lakers superstar Anthony Davis graciously ruined Steph’s moment with his 39-point performance. In LeBron James’ absence, ‘The Brow’ carried his team to victory by 113-105 effectively putting an end to the Warriors’ five-game streak.
