There are few NBA athletes who are as charismatic as Dennis Rodman. The five-time NBA champion was famous for his eccentric hairstyles, tattoos, and piercings. Moreover, he was also known for partying a lot.

However, it was not always like that during his early days in the league. After a famous win over the New York Knicks, the Detroit Pistons players had gone partying.

Surprisingly, Rodman had not joined them. He was just in his second year in the NBA and was devoid of his famous tattoos or piercings. Interestingly enough, while his teammates partied, Rodman spent the evening playing games with a 13-year-old boy.

Rodman and Peter Ginopolis, the Pistons ball boy spent the evening in New York playing games and eating Pizza. Ginopolis, who is now a private wealth manager said, “But it was like I was dealing with someone who was 13 years old. It was so weird; here I am this young kid, and my best friend is this NBA player who loves doing what I do.

Unlike his previous self, Rodman changed completely later on. The Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons icon was well known for his partying habits and for his high-profile relationships.

Despite all his antics off the court, he was still one of the best players on the court. He retired from the NBA having won five NBA titles alongside various other individual accolades.
