In the early hours of Thursday morning, news broke that Kevin Durant was making his way to the Phoenix Suns. As per reports, the Brooklyn Nets and the Suns had agreed on a trade package that revolved around Durant being the center of attention. The two-time NBA champion’s future with the Nets was uncertain after the Kyrie Irving trade. However, no one saw the Sun’s trade unfolding. Now, Durant will have to relocate.

Following their engagement, Monica spoke about Durant publicly. She claimed that he was made up of a gold heart filled with compassion and the drive to help people. Months after this, reports emerged claiming that the two had gone their separate ways.

While Durant stayed mum about their relationship for years, in 2016, he candidly spoke about this with GQ Magazine. He claimed that he failed to love her properly, so they parted ways. He stated that the day he asked her to marry him, the energy was perfect – pushing him to ask the question. Durant said, “I was like … ‘We’re engaged right now? We’re about to get married?’ So I was just like, cool! I love this girl. But I didn’t love her the right way.”

Former adult actress Lana Rhodes also once revealed that she went on a date with a player from the Nets. She added that this player’s sun-sing was Libra. With this information, fans conclude that the player was Durant since his birthday is 29th September. She also revealed that this player was “boring” and “not spicy enough.” However, Durant has never confirmed this story.
