Michael Jordan Once Admitted to Feelings Fading Away in Relationship With Hollywood Star Who Also Dated Eddie Murphy, Mike Tyson and Brad Pitt

Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan was one of the most recognizable faces in the world during his time in the NBA. Needless to say, this led to a lot of interactions with celebrities from the entertainment field.

In fact, MJ has dated quite a few stars from that field. One of his most controversial relationships came with the then Hollywood sensation, Robin Givens.

Although Jordan and Givens were not together for long, it did lead to quite a few controversies. For instance, MJ’s relationship with Givens was one of the reasons why he got almost got into a gruesome fight with boxing legend Mike Tyson.

MJ was a rising star in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls and he was widely regarded as the next big thing. Interestingly enough, during the same time period, he dated Robin Givens. The two infamously broke up and Givens dated Mike Tyson and also married him briefly.

Talking about the relationship, MJ reflected upon why it all went downhill. According to him, the relationship faded out in just a few days. He said,It got tired in five, six days. I could see it.

The relationship between two of the biggest rising stars in their respective industries started in 1986 and they called it quits in early 1987. Interestingly enough, MJ proposed to his ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy the same year.

Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan always had a rocky relationship with Vanoy. After proposing to her in 1987, they called off their engagement shortly after.

However, Vanoy’s pregnancy with Jordan’s first child rekindled their romance. MJ and Vanoy tied the knot in 1989 and were already parents before their marriage.

Vanoy filed for a divorce from the 6 time NBA champion on 2002. This led to a long legal process and the two officially called it quits in 2006. MJ was directed to pay Vanoy around $168 million in the divorce settlement.
