However, a few months back, when the couple were first seen together, the two maintained that they are just friends amid a sea of backlash from fans, disgruntled because of Michael Jordan’s partnership with Scottie Pippen for the Chicago Bulls. Recently, Larsa Pippen openly addressed their relationship in an interview.

The slack from some fans and celebrities did not stop Marcus and Larsa from dating each other. A few days back, Marcus shared their golf date through his Instagram handle. However, it looks like they were indeed friends initially.

In one instance, she stated that they were just friends when they were first seen together in a restaurant in Miami. The Basketball Wives star added that the two had many mutual friends and so they met each other a lot. Furthermore, she revealed that she even tried to set him up with some of her friends.

The hosts could not believe this and were in splits. Larsa then noted that she and Marcus have a lot of similarities. Meanwhile, Angela Yee asked Larsa when did they realize that it was more than just a friendship. She replied, “We honestly were hanging out as friends, and then like the more and more we spend time together, it was just like inevitable.”

Angela then suggested that it is good to start off as friends in romantic relationships because it could set the foundation strong. Larsa agreed to the notion and said that she is lucky to hang out with her best friend, Marcus. She clarified that that’s what she actually meant when she revealed to the media that she was just ‘friends’ with Marcus. Her intention was not to be deceitful. She was telling the truth all along.
