What appears to be true is not always necessarily the case. The Golden State Warriors retained their glory last season. On the court, the team’s synergy and the performance of some big names were crucial factors in their success. As the new season knocks on the door, there appears to be a rift between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole.

Days before the incident, there was a three-point shooting competition held in Tokyo. Klay Thompson was seen giving an interview after winning the competition with Stephen Curry. In the interview, he said, “Yeah, loved shooting the basketball, specially on the same team with Steph.” Later on, he added, “It was nice to humble Jordan Poole.”

Jordan Poole and Draymond Greens rift takes a new turn

Several theories have been proposed in response to this dispute. Some claim that Green and Poole had a verbal argument that resulted in Green punching Poole in the chest. Some say that the reason for this unacceptable event was Poole’s upcoming season contract and his changes in behavior. Later on, Warriors GM, Bob Myers broke his silence on the event.

Myers confirmed the event of Green punching Poole. And he later declined all the rumors regarding the reason for this dispute. He said the incident took place because of the trash talks between the two. The executive also added that Green apologized for his actions and some disciplinary actions will be taken by the team and management.
