Shaquille O’Neal clarifies the truth
During his podcast, Shaq addressed Gary Payton’s claim of throwing urine at the rookies. After a little joking around, The Big Diesel admitted that he never threw urine at the rookies. However, he said what he did was mean and dirty.
He said: “My main man Gary Payton went on some podcast and said something. It’s not true America.” Shaq continued saying, “Listen, I was mean, and I was dirty, but I wasn’t that dirty, so it’s not true. Not a week, not three days, not even two days……. It may have been perceived that it was urine, but it wasn’t actually urine.”
While O’Neal was surely a bad boy, this did seem a little much, even for him. The Big Diesel lived his fun time in the league and was a spectacle for the fans. But Shaq has been a part of several dirty plays throughout his career. At one point, he even went after his now friend, Charles Barkley.
