Over the years LeBron James has made the league his own. One of the most coveted players in any sport and in the NBA, an absolute legend. LeBron’s career has been star-studded and full of success. Every team he has played for has won the championship. However, the second title with the Miami Heat was special. LeBron and Dwyane Wade were a formidable duo.

LeBron was adamant to have the honor of winning two consecutive titles. And LeBron revealed why one game from the 2012 playoffs that season was one of his best games ever.

“We call that ‘being in the zone.’ You wish you can tap into that sh*t more often. When it happens, you have no idea what the f*ck is going on.

“That game I had in Boston, game six, down 3-2… it got to a point where I was just out there trying sh*t. One leg, off the wrong foot, bump fades off my right shoulder. I’m not even a right-shoulder bump-fade guy.” LeBron narrated how he just wanted to win and was trying anything and everything possible.

LeBron continued telling how he was in the zone, “I started a game, like, eight for eight. And every time I was shooting, it just felt so perfect, and it was barely touching the net– like, going straight through, like a bird just goes straight through the water–phew!

He added, “It’s definitely a drug. You wish the night never ends. When the game ends, I’m literally, like, sad. Like, I want to go– I could literally go again. I could play a whole game right after the game end.”

LeBron has had many great games in his career. But game 6 of the 2012 conference finals against the Boston Celtics was iconic. He scored 45 points to tie the game 3-3. Scoring 19 out of 26 field goals attempted. He always had 15 rebounds and 5 assists. It was certainly one of the best games of his career. The monster performance, the intense stare, and the winning path towards the 2012 NBA finals. Iconic!

LeBron made his debut in 2003 and almost two decades later he still plays with the same passion, determination and dedication. LeBron has played 19 seasons in the NBA and wherever he has gone he has been a legend for that team. When he started his career with the Cavaliers, everybody knew that he was going to be a legend. He then became a legend for the Miami Heat winning NBA Championship twice in consecutive years.

After that, he returned to the Cavs to extend his legacy winning a title there and playing 4 finals in a row. Then he arrived at the Lakers and he won in LA as well. He won the 2020 NBA championship with the Lakers. After a disappointing season, now even in his 20th season, he will still be hungry to win another ring. This truly defines the legacy and the greatness of LeBron James.
