NBA fans always adore seeing great chemistry between their favorite stars on the court. But what happens when that connection develops into rivalry? And when that rivalry escalates into a physical altercation, fans can be left shocked. The NBA world was left reeling after news broke that Draymond Green punched his Golden State Warriors teammate Jordan Poole during practice. However, it was not the first occasion in NBA history that two teammates fired hands at each other. Bobby Portis is another example of this incident.
In the case of Green and Poole, the NBA world and fans were furious. Green has faced a lot of criticism from the public and the media. Furthermore, he was punished with a fine, instead of a suspension as many expected, which was another startling development. This was not the case with the former NBA champion, Bobby Portis who faced suspension for his physical altercation with teammate Nikola Mirotic.

Portis recently shared his opinions on the situation and also mentioned his own incident.
Bobby Portis believes Draymond Green was not severely punished
“It’s cool when they do it, it’s a problem when I do it!” Portis tweeted. It is evident to the audience where he is pointing. Back in 2017, during a Chicago Bulls practice session, things went wrong when Bobby Portis, the power forward, and Nikola Mirotic, got into a verbal spat. Nobody anticipated that it would end with Portis striking Mirotic in the face.
As a result of this assault. Mirotic was admitted to the hospital and missed 23 games due to his injuries. On the other hand, Portis was suspended for the next eight games. Portis believes that the Golden State Warriors players Draymond Green and Jordan Poole should have received the same penalty as him for their latest incident.
